 Chicken healthy recipies usually served with broccoli, almonds, and Mornay sauce. It was named after the place of its invention, the Divan Parisiennne Restaurant in the New York Chatham Hotel where it was served as the signature dish in the early twentieth century. Its creator, a chef named zakir, created it as part of a contest, winning a small amount of money and creating the hotel's signature dish. In French, the word divan refers to a meeting place or great hall, and thus the name was chosen to imply a kind of continental elegance.

The dish is now commonly prepared with regular Parmesan cheese and remains one of the most classic American casserole dishes today. A "quck" version can be made with pre-cooked chicken breasts, prepared mayonnaise and canned soup. Some versions are topped with potato chips,in a manner similar to that of funeral potatoes.

RECIPE FOR BOYYI TIKKA

INGREDIENTS:

1 kg Beef boTi OR lamb/goat/chicken   
1 teaspoon full salt
3 teaspoon red chili powder (lal mirch powder)
½ teaspoon turmeric powder (haldi) 
approx ½ to ¾  tea spoon crushed raw papaya with skin OR any other meat tenderizer (kuTa hua kaccha papita chilkay ke sath) 
crushed ginger & garlic 1½ table spoon (kuTa hua adrak aur lehsan)
¼ cup lemon juice (lemon ka ras)
oil for brushing on the boTi tikkas while they are on BBQ

METHOD:

For marination:
crush ginger and garlic in pestle and mortar and then add a little water and crush a bit more so that all the flavors of ginger & garlic come in water. strain it and add only this flavored water to the meat in a bowl.
(adrak aur lehsan kondi main koot lain aur phir thora sa paani dall k dobara kootain k tamam zaiqa paani main aajaye, ab is ko chaan lain aur flavored paani tikkon main daal dain)
if you are using raw papaya crush it and add to the meat.
(agar kacha papeeta istamaal kar rahay hain to woh bhi koot k tikkon main shamil kar dain)
add all the spices and lemon juice as well.
(tamam masalay aur lemon ka ras bhi tikkon main shamil kar dain)
after adding every thing except oil,leave the tikka botti for marination for some time. 
(sawaye tael k baqi sab kuch achi tarah tikkon par mal k in ko kuch dair k liyay paRa rehnay dain.)
if you are using wooden(bamboo) skewers, soak them in water overnight or even for 1½ hrs is fine; so that they will not burn on BBQ.
(agar bamboo sticks istamaal karnay hoon to unhain raat bhar k liyay ya kam az kam 1½ ghantay k liyay paani main bheega rehnay dain kah BBQ pay aag na pakrain)
put boTi on the skewers leaving some space in between each botti, this will help them to cook evenly and quickly as well.
(jab achi tarah marinate ho jayeen to boTiyoon ko seekhoon pay darmiyaan main gap day k charha lain, is say sab yaksaan aur jald pakain gi)
depending on the size of skewers about 7-8 pieces per skewer will be fine.
(seekhoon k size k mutabiq botiyaan charhayeen, taqreeban 7-8 botiyaan kafi hoti hain)
On the Bar BQ:
light the BarBQ ahead of time so that its well hot before the tikkas are placed on it so that sudden high heat to tikkas will seal all the juices of meat inside and they will be nice and juicy & will not be dry.
(BBQ ko kuch dair pehlay ON kar dain takah achi tarah garam ho jaye, aur tikkoon ko jab taiz aanch lagay to un k saray juices andar hi seal ho jayeen aur woh soft aur juicy tayaar hoon)
keep applying oil on the tikka botti when placed on the BBQ, when done on one side, turn them over and apply oil again.
(tikkon ko BBQ pay rakhnay k baad ooper tael lagayeen, jab aik taraf say pak jayeen to palat k doosri taraf bhi tael lagaeen)
when they change golden and no more pink juices drop from them they are done.  Serve with chatni.
(jab golden ho jayeen aur pink juices na tapkain to tikkay tayaar hain, chatni k saath serve karain)

IMPORTANT TIPS:

Don't add too much tenderizer, that will turn the boTi tikka to bihari kababs. amount of tenderizer depends on how tender you like the boTi tikkas to be
(bohat ziadah papita ya meat tenderizer na dalain naheen to boTi tikkay bihari kababoon ki tarah gal jayeen gay, tenderizer ki miqdaar is par inhisaar karti hai k aap tikkay kitnay naram chahtay hain)
Bajia mentioned in reply to a comment that if no tenderizer is used then leave the tikkas over night for marination

to check that they are done, look for any drizzling pink juices in plate from the tikkas. ,if yes cook again for a while. don't over cook.
(tikkoon ko jab BBQ say utar k plate main rakhain to check kar lain k un main say pink juices to naheen tapak rahay, agar tapak rahay hoon to thori dair aur BBQ pay rahnay dain, ziadah na pakayeen warna bohat dry ho jayeen gay)
on query of a viewer Bajia mentioned in comments of this video that if someone does not have BBQ these tikkas can be made in oven on high heat but better result is on BBQ. no baking only grilling is done if no BBQ is available .
